The Philippine Consulate General in Toronto joins the Filipino nation in commemorating the 160th birth anniversary of Gat Andres Bonifacio. Andres Bonifacio is considered the “Father of the Philippine Revolution”. He co-founded the “Katipunan” or “Kataas-taasang Kagalang-galangan Katipunan ng mga Anak ng Bayan” in 1892 whose goal was to win Philippine independence from Spain.
