Consul General Kristine Leilani R. Salle joined spouses Nelson and Estrella Rodriguez, Master Franchisees of Potato Corner Canada,last Sunday, 26 October 2025, for the grand opening of Potato Corner at the Scarborough Town Centre. This is Potato Corner’s third store in Ontario, following the branches at Square One Shopping Centre in Mississauga and Bramalea City Centre in Brampton. Potato Corner has thirteen other locations in Canada including 10 in Alberta and 3 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The Philippine Consulate General in Toronto supports Filipino and Filipino-Canadian businesses, which contribute to economic growth and job generation both here in Canada and back home in the Philippines.
