The Philippines has improved in an annual ranking of the world’s most innovative economies. The country rose 17 spots and placed 83rd out of 141 in the Global Innovation Index (GII) 2015 of the World Intellectual Property Organization, Cornell University, and INSEAD business school, from 100th out of 143 last year.
