ARAW NG KALAYAAN 2025 - FLAG RAISING CEREMONIES

The Philippine Consulate General in Toronto, in partnership with the Toronto Flag Raising Committee, the Philippine Independence Day Council and the Federation of Filipino Canadians in Ontario, is pleased to invite members and friends of the Filipino community to join us in commemorating the 127th anniversary of the Declaration of Philippine Independence on Thursday, 12 June 2025, through our annual flag raising ceremonies:
- Toronto City Hall, 8:30 a.m.; and – Queen’s Park, 12:00 p.m.
With the theme Kalayaan. Kinabukasan. Kasaysayan., this year’s commemoration celebrates the freedom fought for by our forefathers, the future they dreamt for the nation, and the history we aim to remember and honor.
We look forward to celebrating this day with you as we work together in building a brighter future for Filipinos in the Philippines and in Canada.
