PHILIPPINE CONSULATE GENERAL CONDUCTS SPECIAL CONSULAR SERVICE TO ORANGEVILLE

26 August 2023 – The Philippine Consulate General in Toronto conducted a special consular service at the Orangeville & District Senior Citizens Centre on 26 August 2023. Filipino presence is growing in Orangeville and neighboring areas where there are manufacturing plants, nursing homes, and medical facilities that employ them. A total of 15 Philippine passports were renewed, 20 documents consularized, with one civil registry and six new dual citizenship applications accepted. There were also 20 overseas voter registrations processed and an administration of oath done for four applicants to facilitate their reacquisition of Filipino citizenship. Representatives from SSS and MWO-Toronto were able to provide services to around 20 clients.
