Consular Services

Issuance of Passport

For passport renewal, personal appearance is required at the Philippine Consulate General in Toronto for biometric data capture. Processing takes around eight to ten weeks. In the event of power failures brought about by weather disturbances in the Philippines, the processing may even take longer. Applicants are no longer required to bring their own photos. Appointment is not necessary likewise. You can come anytime between 9:00am and 4:00pm from Mondays to Fridays, except during holidays.

Minor applicants should be accompanied by either one of the parents. For illegitimate children, they must be accompanied by the mother.

For applicants from the provinces of Manitoba and Saskatchewan, kindly watch out for our press releases regarding consular outreach programs to be posted on our website for information of the general public.
